A fixed price tender, including all taxes, is required for mechanical and electrical upgrades related to the heating system upgrades at the Lakeland College campus building in Lloydminster, Alberta. Included will be the following general scope of work: .1 Replace the heating boilers including new boiler pumps, building heating-water pumps, and glycol heat exchanger heating-water pumps. Heating water boiler replacement includes reconfiguration of heating piping. .2 Replace the glycol heat exchanger and the glycol pump pipe accessories. .3 Repair the existing heating-water and heating-glycol piping by replacing the grooved-mechanical couplings and pipe insulation. Replacement of grooved-mechanical couplings to include manufacturer 25-year warranty including all materials and labour to replace defective components. .4 Replace the mechanical room domestic-cold-water piping and the building booster pumps. .5 Provide new direct-digital-controls to control the new systems and equipment. New controls are to be compatible with the existing BMS control system. .6 Separate pricing for the following building piping upgrades within the bookstore/corridor/storage: a) Repair the existing heating-water and heating-glycol piping by replacing the grooved-mechanical couplings and pipe insulation. Replacement of grooved-mechanical couplings to include manufacturer 25-year warranty including all materials and labour to replace defective component; b) Provide heating-water and heating-glycol zone service isolation valves; c) Replace the large diameter domestic-cold-water piping and provide new service zone isolation valves. Reconnect any existing take-offs.
