Renovation and addition to an educational facility in Lloydminster, Alberta. Completed plans call for the addition of a 57,164-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; and for the renovation of a educational facility.

Work of the project of which work of this contract is a part, is comprised of, but not limited to, the following: .1 The expansion and renovation of the existing Lloydminster Comprehensive High School, located in Lloydminster, Alberta. .2 The building addition will accommodate new learning spaces that include "Standard" Classrooms, Science Classrooms, Multipurpose Classrooms, two Arts / Graphics spaces, a new Home Economics Lab, and a new Junior High Industrial Arts Lab. The addition will also accommodate a new Gathering Space, new washroom clusters, storage rooms, and mechanical / electrical infrastructure and utility spaces. .3 The building addition will also accommodate a new Community Fieldhouse which includes a Gymnasium space, Change Rooms, Storage space, a Fitness Centre, and Lobby space. .4 The building renovation “renewal” work will be comprised of, but not limited to, i) boiler room and plant renewal, ii) replacement of the building’s building control system, iii) interior and exterior lighting upgrade / retrofit including lighting controls, iv) upgrade of public address head end, v) replacement of exterior doors at various locations, vi) replacement of rooftop equipment at various locations, vii) replacement of air fans at various locations, viii) complete demolition and modernization of the school’s existing Administration and Student Services Suites, ix) replacement of heating distribution zone isolation valves in various locations, x) introduction of new structural reinforcing of existing roofs at various locations.
