Final day for questions Wednesday, December 22, 2021 The Widefield Water and Sanitation District (Owner or WWSD) is seeking a qualified Construction Manager (CM) to provide Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services including preconstruction services and complete construction services for the Upper West to East (UW2E) Water Transmission Line project. The selected CMAR will work as a team with the designer of record and Owner staff to ensure an efficient design approach for the project. The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to identify interested CM's with qualifications to meet the needs of the Owner and financial capacity to provide CMAR services during the project. Based on qualifications included in a responsive Statement of Qualifications (SOQ), the Owner's selection committee will select the best qualified firms to establish a short list of firms. These firms will be invited to provide a price proposal based on a Request for Proposal after Owner's review of the SOQ's. Final selection of a CMaR is anticipated to occur at the end of January 2022, with the start of preconstruction services to occur in February 2022 or earlier, as determined by the Owner. The proposed UW2E project will install a new 24-inch water transmission main from Booster Pump Station #2 to the existing Joint Use Tank Farm. The proposed UW2E waterline will travel north to Fontaine Blvd, west along Fontaine Blvd, and south to the Joint Use Tank Farm. Timely completion of the UW2E waterline in the fall of 2022 is a priority for WWSD to meet growing demand in the future. Work may be completed in separate construction packages depending on the schedule for obtaining necessary easements, materials, and labor.
