Renovation of a medical facility in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Work under this contract includes the renovation of approximately 982 ft2 on Level 7 of the Womens Building into four (4) functional, efficient and updated Fetal Assessment Treatment rooms for the IWK FATC. The work to include the installation of four (4) interior door and frame along with interior wall construction to underside of deck and finishing, painting, flooring along with millwork, plumbing, sprinkler, mechanical HVAC system, electrical and data service upgrades, structural if required for procedure light support if required, prepared by DSRA for the IWK Health Centre. TIMELINE: Request for proposal for construction services closed at the owner on January 11, 2022 and Avondale Construction Ltd. has been awarded the construction contract.
