Demolition and site work for a residential development in Winfield, Kansas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
No proposal will be accepted from any person or firm, who is in arrears to the City of Winfield upon debt on contract, who is in default as surety, or otherwise upon any obligations to the City, or who has failed in previous contracts to comply with the requirements of the specifications, and to fulfill his contract. Contractors must be licensed by the City of Winfield and hold the necessary, current, bond and insurance documentation to perform the required work or submission will not be accepted. All proposals shall be made and received with the express understanding that the person or firm accepts the terms and conditions contained in these requests, specifications, forms of contract, and the bonds referred to herein. All quotes shall be valid for a minimum of 90 days from the time of opening. If the quote amount is in excess of $100,000, the successful person or firm shall furnish a surety bond, running to the Owner, conditioned upon prompt, full and complete performance and a surety bond in accordance with K.S.A. 60-1111. The City of Winfield reserves the right to reject any and all quotes, to waive any minor irregularities which will not result in a substantial advantage for a party over other persons or firms
