SCOPE OF SERVICES
Albuquerque Public Schools is seeking proposals for Electrical Services on-call. The successful Offeror must
provide the proper equipment, supplies, and labor with required certifications and/or licenses to perform the
following services, which include but not limited to:
a. Troubleshoots, maintains, repairs, installs and replaces building electrical equipment and electronic systems
and components rated up to 600 volts;
b. Performs preventive maintenance utilizing multimeters and other specialty equipment to safely test, measure
and then correct any observed deficiencies;
c. The parts and materials shall be obtained from APS Warehouse or APS approved vendors. If not available
from APS Warehouse or APS approved vendors, the contractor shall obtain a parts and materials list with pricing
for APS to approve.
d. Keeps accurate records of parts and materials used and maintains daily time reports to efficiently complete
work and document details of the work performed;
e. Performs electrical maintenance work in accordance with established safety procedures;
f. Provides timely and courteous customer service, keeps APS Project Managers up to date on daily work order
status to ensure clear, concise and necessary communication channels are maintained and customer expectations
are met;
g. Install new and repair existing electrical circuits;
h. Install and repair electrical fixtures of all types;
i. Replace interior and exterior lightbulbs;
j. Install and replace metal and plastic conduits and associated pull boxes;
k. Install, repair and replace low voltage conductors;

l. Change or rebuild pad mounted transformers;
m. Install, repair or replace site building and pole lighting;
n. Repair underground electrical wiring;
o. Interior electrical short repair;
p. Locate underground utilities;
q. Replace defective disconnects;
r. Emergency calls - must be available 7 days a week, inclusive of holidays
