One (1) original copy of the Firm's Bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope/package with the bid number and Bidder's name and address clearly indicated on the envelope/package.All Bids must be written legibly in ink or typewritten. Additional instructions for preparing a Bid are provided herein. All questions related to this Solicitation shall be in writing and directed to Jessica Leasure,Contract Specialist thru email to jleasure@gesd40.org. Bidders shall not contact or ask questions of the school or department for which the requirement is being procured. All inquiries shall be made a minimum of 7 days prior to the specified opening date. All questions will be responded to as soon as possible. The project will start as early as May 27,2022, substantial completion by August 1, 2022, and final completion by August 5, 2022. Schedule to be coordinated with owner. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to Glendale Elementary School District No 40.The Bidder to whom the contract is awarded shall furnish the Owner, within five (5) days after the award, satisfactory Payment and Performance Bonds in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount stated in the Bid. Notwithstanding any other provision of this solicitation, the School District/Public Entity reserves the right to:1. Waive any minor informality;2. Reject any and all Bids or portions thereof; or 3. Cancel a solicitation.
