Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Los Indios, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The project consists of placing approximately 3,946 SY of pavement improvements, 1,241 SY of scarifying surface and base material, reshape and compact existing base course with 1% lime, approximately 2,787 LF of curb and gutter replacement, and 2,788 SF of driveway repairs in Los Indios, Texas. Bidders must submit a certified check or bank draft payable to the order of City of Los Indios, Texas, or negotiable U.S. Government Bond (as par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to five (5%) of the total Bid, as a guaranty that the Bidder will enter into a Contract within ten (10) days after Notice of Award of Contract to him. All contractors and subcontractors must have an active registration with the System for Award Management AND have been cleared (not suspended or debarred) prior to any formal action authorizing the award of a contract to the contractor. The project to be constructed will be financed with assistance from the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and is subject to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the federally determined prevailing (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) wage rate contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project. Additionally, the successful Bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Adherence to the grant recipient's Section 3 Policy is required for contracts and subcontracts in excess of $100,000.00. Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, and Women Business Enterprises, and Historically Underutilized Business firms are encouraged to submit bids Bids may be held for a period not exceeding ninety (90) days for the purpose of review. City of Los Indios, Texas reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the Bidding.
