Site work, renovation and addition to a transportation facility in Breslau, Ontario. Completed plans call for the addition of a 7,020-square-foot, one-story above grade transportation facility; for site work for a transportation facility; and for the renovation of a one-story above grade transportation facility.
Only contractors who have been successfully prequalified under PQ2021-08 and PQ2021-22 may bid on this work. A terminal expansion at the current Air Terminal Building (ATB) is required to support increased passenger traffic once a specific trigger has been reached. The currently planned expansion is intended to accommodate up to 1,000,000 passengers per year from the current design capacity of approximately 250,000 passengers per year. The construction cost for the Phase 2 expansion project, not including Baggage Handling or Hold Bag Screening, is estimated to be between $8M to $10M.
