The purpose of the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to invite interested parties to submit responses to the City indicating their interest in and providing their qualifications for projects which include the construction of underground utilities and parking lot improvementsfor the City of Chilliwack as the need arises. Present contemplated projects will be located at “The Landing” which is bounded by Corbould Street, Hodgins Avenue, Spadina Avenue and Ashwell Road. The Landing Projects are expected to be up to a value of $750,000.00. The Responses to this Request for Qualifications will be used to identify a shortlist, a minimum of three (3) and up to four (4) qualified Respondents who will be invited to respond to a Request for Proposals for the Projects. This RfQ provides some general information about anticipated projects, the requirements for the Responses to this RfQ, and the process to be used to select the shortlisted Respondents. The scope of work for the projects could include but not be limited to: Excavation of the site to underside of sub-grade design elevations Installation of storm sewer infrastructure Installation of underground heat recovery piping Installation of underground conduit, junction boxes, and electric kiosks for EV charging stations Installation of parking lot lighting complete with foundations, poles and fixtures, underground conduit and electrical wiring; Construction of parking lot sub-grade; Construction of concrete curbs and sidewalks Installation of asphalt pavement structure; Line painting; and Adjacent landscape reinstatement Documents can be obtained from http://www.chilliwack.com/bids
