The City of Pittsburgh (CITY), Department of Public Works (DPW), Bureau of Facilities is requesting construction bids for the renovation of Olympia Park Shelter House -- also known as "R. Paul Manion Recreation Center." The building is in Olympia Park, located in between the Mt. Washington and Duquesne Heights neighborhoods. It has a total square footage of approximately 4,500 sf, which is divided between two floors. Including, but not limited to: project coordination, permits, bonds, surveying, layout, staking, temporary fencing, removals, erosion and sediment control, tree protection, stake out of improvements, unclassified excavation, earthwork, grading, subgrade preparation & compaction, foundations, walls, masonry removals, concrete stairs, concrete paving, trail surface aggregate paving, handrails, wood fence, timber curb, trash receptacles, bike racks, engineered wood mulch, boulders, and seeding.
