Renovation of a water / sewer project in Ontario, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The primary goal of this project is to evaluate and replace major RP-1 Intermediate Pump Station components of electrical equipment and their appurtenances, which are approaching the end of their useful life and showing signs of failure. The major project scope points are summarized below: Set up and switch to temporary power system. Temporary power will be included in the design to minimize the effect to Operations during construction. Replace IPS Systems A & B's MCC 6M and IPS System C's MCC 8M with new ethernet based Allen-Bradley IntelliCENTER systems. Replace the existing pump station motors (qty. 10) with inverter duty motors rated 75 hp and replace the outdated variable frequency and eddy current drives (qty. 6) to energy efficient Allen-Bradley PowerFlex variable frequency drives (VFDs). Replace the outdoor 480V Switchboard M3. Replace 12kV - 480V transformers T3A and T2B which feed the Switchboard M3. The new equipment will be integrated in the latest PlantPax SCADA application. Replace bubbler level sensors with new ultrasonic level sensors (qty. 3). Install mechanical seals for each pump (qty. 10). Q&A Deadline 09/26/2023 5:00 PM (PDT) through online
