Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), Real Property Branch requires a qualified general contractor to rehabilitate the outer breakwater at the Portsmouth Olympic Harbour located at 53 Yonge Street, Kingston. The Contractor must perform and complete the in-water Work by March 15, 2022, and must complete the project in its entirety by April 29, 2022. The purpose of this project is to rehabilitate the outer breakwater at the Portsmouth Olympic Harbour located at 53 Yonge Street, Kingston. Work for this project includes: - Repairs to existing piles by installing bolted split steel collars; - Installation of new piles consisting of twin micopile pipe casings, seated on bedrock with thread bars socket drilled into bedrock; and - Installation of new steel sheet pile wavescreens, and associated steel framing. Associated work includes localized demolition of existing structure, localized reinforced concrete deck extensions at new pile locations, augering in fill and rock, grout filled pipe casings, and (underwater) welding.
