All bids must be submitted on forms fur - nished by the West Sayville Oakdale Fire District, in accordance with the spec - ifications and instructions to Bidders contained in the bid specification A Bid Bond or certified check made payable to West Sayville-Oak -dale Fire District in the amount of at least ten (10%) percent of the base bid must accompany each bid. A full performance bond, togetherwith payment bond & a main - tenance bond, shall be required of the successful bidder. The contract for the above item will be awarded by the Board of Fire Com - missioners to the lowest responsible bidder for each trade. In cases where two or more responsible bidders submit identical bids as to price, the Board of Fire Commissioners may award the contract to either of such bidders. No bids may be withdrawn by any bidder for a period offorty-five (45) daysfrom the date of bid opening. Applications for Payment will be issued utilizing A.I.A. Forms G702 and G703. The contractor will provide a "Schedule ofVal - ues " prior to the start of construction. A 5% retainage will be. held for each line item on the Schedule of Values. The retainage will be released upon com - pletion of the Punch List and the complete submis - sion of all project close - out documents as per Sec - tion 01770. Weekly job meetings will be held at the job site for the entire duration while contract work is in prog - ress. All prime contractors and all sub-contractors shall have representation at all Project Meetings. This entire project is to be scheduled to commence as soon as weather permits and materials are avail - able, and will be required to be completed within ninety (90) calendar days from the date of signing the contract.
