Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Lacon, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; for paving for a municipal facility; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Demolition of the existing concrete exterior stairs and the installation of new connecting sidewalks, stone and concrete stairs and all equipment and accessories and miscellaneous construction to complete the project. All bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the proposer and clearly marked, Attn: West Main Entry Stairs Renovations Bid. Sealed bids may be hand delivered, mailed or shipped. The bid envelope shall not be used for mailing or shipping. The County will not be responsible for late or undelivered proposals. Bids received after the scheduled time will not be accepted, and bids shall remain valid for a period of sixty (60) days from the Bid due date. Not less than the prevailing hourly wage rate as determined by the U.S. Department of Urban Development, Office of Labor Relations pursuant to the Davis Bacon Act (40 U.S.C. 4141, 3142 as amended). 4. ILCS Chapter 130; p 12 Sec Specifications and Drawings will be available at the Office of the Architect, Melotte Morse Leonatti Parker, Ltd., 213 % South Sixth Street, Springfield, Illinois 62701. Plans are at website. All Bidders are advised that all work of this Contract shall be subject to the provisions of the "Davis-Bacon Act." Prevailing wage rates have been included in the bid documents as determined by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development, Office of Labor relations. All Bidders shall submit and enclose with their bid a notarized certification that the Contractor is not barred from bidding on the Contract as a result of a violation of either Section 33 E-3 or 33 E-4 of Article 33E, Public Act 85-1295 (Senate Bill 2002) effective January 1, 1989. Certification is located in the Proposal Form, Section 00300, of the Project Manual. Minority owned contractors are encouraged to participate. Failure of Bidders to submit bid bond, certified check or cashier's check in amount to cover proposals bid upon is cause for rejection of bid. Surety Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond will not be required for this project. Marshall County Illinois reserves the right to reject any or all bids and reserves the right to waive any irregularity in bidding, which in their considered opinion is warranted. No bid shall be withdrawn for Sixty (60) days after opening of bids without written consent of the Owner. Election accessibility upgrades to existing west main entrance stairs to the Courthouse in Lacon, Illinois. Demolition of the existing concrete exterior stairs and the installation of new connecting sidewalks, stone and concrete stairs and all equipment and accessories and miscellaneous construction to complete the project. Base Bid: General Contractor shall provide coordination, labor and materials for Renovation Work including but not limited to: 1. Cutting and patching concrete at existing parking and sidewalks to re-locate accessible parking space, build new concrete accessibility ramp and railings, modifying the entry landing and doors and entry, including demolition and build new of concrete sidewalk, and new ADA handrails, door and sidelight, ramp and all accessories. 2. Protection of existing construction, adjacent property and installations to remain. Protect and renovate the areas as shown. 4. Site cleaning, material disposal, dumpsters and barriers as required by the work, regulations, OSHA and the public safety. 5. Coordination of all subcontractors and suppliers.
