Scope of Work: Services to be provided include the furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to perform landscape maintenance, hardscape maintenance, irrigation maintenance, power shearing of hedges, fertilizer application, chemical insect/disease control, weeding, herbicide application, mulching, litter pick-up and other incidental landscaping maintenance activities in accordance to the Specifications and Requirements, herein. Goal Participation: This solicitation includes participation goals for Broward County certified County Business Enterprises. Refer to Special Instructions and the Office of Economic and Small Business Development Requirements section for additional information. County/State License Requirements: In order to be considered a responsive and responsible Vendor for the scope of work set forth in this solicitation, the Vendor must possess a specified license at the time of submittal (refer to Special Instructions for requirements). Basis for Award: Award will be made to the lowest, responsive, and responsible Vendor meeting the written specifications. Bidders must bid all items. A bidder desiring to offer "No Charge" on an item must indicate by placing a $0.00 in the offer field for that item, and enter "No Charge" in the "Notes for Buyer" section in the EBS (electronic bidding system); otherwise it will be construed as incomplete and may be rejected. Questions and Answers: The County provides a specified time for Vendors to ask questions and seek clarification regarding the requirements of the solicitation. All questions or clarification inquiries must be submitted through Periscope S2G by the date and time referenced in the solicitation document (including any addenda). The County will respond to all questions via Periscope S2G. Contract duration: 1 year
