The City of Fort Lauderdale is actively seeking bids from qualified bidders, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, to complete the work as detailed below, in full accordance with the specifications, terms, and conditions contained in this Quick Quote. Contractors must have experience applying the specified materials and provide references for two (2) projects similar in scope. 1. Prepare concrete floors using Steel Shot Blast and Dustless Grinding Preparation. Any existing coating that prevents a smooth surface in the finished product must be removed. Uneven final floor surfaces will be rejected and required to be refinished. 2. Install a solid gray color, hybrid floor system consisting of cementitious urethane base coat and epoxy and urethane topcoats. Natural quartz aggregate is incorporated for improved slip resistance. The nominal system thickness is 3/16 - 1/4 inch. Contractor to submit product data sheet for approval. Compressive strength to meet 17,500 psi per ASTM D-695 and Hardness of 75-80 per ASTM D-2240. 3. Provide at least 1 gallon of touch-up product. The total of work areas is estimated at 2,300 square feet divided between 4 buildings. This includes 2 stairwells. Based on one mobilization. Contractor will have access to work site and all areas Mon-Fri 7 AM-5 PM, excluding City holidays. The price submitted will be final. No additional price will be accepted.
