Locations are shown on the Location Map and described below. The work will consist of the following: A) MD 56 at I-70 Westbound Ramps (approximately milepoint 1.4); Removal of existing pavement, excavation for new pavement, installation of new asphalt paving over graded aggregate base, installation new curb, relocate existing light pole, relocation and installation new signs, installation of pavement markings; B) US 40 at Beaver Creek Rd. (approximately milepoint 40.2);Removal of existing concrete island, installation of new mountable curb concrete island.; C) US 40 at Day Rd (approximately milepoint 39.1);Installation of new raised median and intersection island, excavation, installation of object markers and pavement markings; D) US 340 at Valley Rd. (approximately milepoint 1.8);Installation of new raised median, excavation, installation of signs, object markers and pavement markings; E) US 40 at Greenbrier State Park (approximately milepoint 45.6); Installation of new raised median, excavation, installation of object markers and pavement markings and all other incidentals required to complete the work.
