The project includes providing labor, equipment and material for cleaning and maintenance either emergency or routine to the collection system of the Borough of Palmyra Sewer Treatment Plant and Collection System. Each bid must be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit, an Ownership Disclosure Form, a Plant, Equipment and Experience Statement and a proposal guaranty in the form of a certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the Total Bid Price Bid in the proposal; except that when the Total Price Bid is $200,000.00 or more, the amount of the proposal guaranty shall be $20,000.00. The proposal guaranty must be in the form of a bid bond, or certified check, or cashier's check or a combination thereof, and must be drawn to the order of the Borough of Palmyra, New Jersey and must be delivered at the place and by the hour above-named. All proposals submitted by corporations or partnerships shall list names of stock-holders in accordance with P.L. 1977, C.33. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, C.127 which is an act relating to affirmative action in relation to discrimination in connection with certain public contracts; and shall pay prevailing wage rates in accordance with P.L. 1963, C.150. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq and N.J.A.C. 17:27. The Borough of Palmyra reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any insignificant defect or informality in any bid should it be within it's legal right and in the interest of the Borough to do so.
