Annual Requirements - Granular Quicklime The City of Lompoc is soliciting bids for annual requirements for bulk Granular Quicklime required in processing treated City water products. The Lime requirements will cover a period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of award. a. Annual usage is estimated to be 1925 tons per year. b. Delivery: Approximately 160 tons per month From the original issue date until the contract is awarded, the only authorized City contact will be the Purchasing Officer or the Purchasing staff listed below. Only information communicated by the Procurement Officer or his/her designee shall be the official position of the City. Interested bidders or their representatives are not allowed to communicate with City staff regarding this solicitation. If any bidder is found to be in violation of this provision, the City reserves the right to reject their bid. Questions must be submitted before 4:00 pm on December 13, 2021. The term of this agreement is to be two years, with an option to extend for two additional one-year terms upon mutual agreement in writing. If at the completion of each one year period, either party feels a price adjustment is warranted; the right is reserved to negotiate this increase or decrease. Rejection by either party will terminate the contract remaining. The City reserves the option to temporarily extend this contract for an additional sixty (60) calendar days from its expiration date for any reason.
