Project Overview: The City of Burleson is requesting Competitive Sealed Proposals (RFCSP) for the construction of Shannon Creek Nature Park, located at 1624 Stillwater Drive, Burleson, TX 76028. This centrally located 14.86-acre site is part of the City's park system and is designed to enhance connectivity between multiple trails, parks, and open spaces. The project involves the development of currently undeveloped land into a nature park. Planned improvements include the construction of a fishing pond, pier, boardwalk, natural surface trails, wildflower areas, native tree plantings, paved walkways, site furnishings, and other associated landscape enhancements. The design also incorporates drainage solutions to address storm water management needs in the area. The park will serve as a key linkage within the broader Burleson parks and trails network, supporting both recreational use and environmental stewardship. All work shall be completed in accordance with the construction documents, specifications, and schedule outlined in this RFCSP.
