Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Ottawa, Ontario. Design plans call for the construction of a recreation facility; and for site work for a recreation facility.

Construction of a major events centre site. The master plan will include an arena, hotel, restaurants, bars, public spaces and would be located on Albert Street, between Preston Street and City Centre Avenue. Six-seven residential towers are also considered. The soil remediation work will be required. TIMELINE: Preliminary planning is underway, with plans expected to be unveiled in early 2027. Additional land may be acquired in the future, but the initial land (11 acres) purchase must be finalized first. The total project cost and construction timelines have not been established yet. Further update in winter/spring, 2027. Note: The NCC have entered into an agreement with a group led by the Ottawa Senators for the development of a major event centre at LeBreton Flats. The group is proposing to build an NHL hockey arena and events venue, surrounded by mixed-use development. The NCC has identified the Team as CSDI Partners (Capital Sports Development Inc.) a group led by the Ottawa Senators NHL hockey team. CDSI includes Sterling Project Development (Real Estate Management), Populous (Design Firm), Tipping Point Sports (Boutique sports finance & advisory firm) & Live Nation. CSDI will develop a detailed concept and implementation plan, and will submit them for federal and municipal approval. On August 11, 2025, the NCC and CSDI entered into an agreement of purchase and sale of approximately 4.5 hectares (11 acres) of land to bring a major events centre and arena district, including a mixed-use development project, to LeBreton Flats.
