Renovation of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Pointe-Claire, Quebec. Working plans call for the renovation of a 204-bed elderly care / assisted living facility.
Reconstruction of Grace Dart Long Term Care Centre located on the territory of the West of Montreal Island Integrated University Health and Social Services Centre. The seniors' home located in Pointe-Claire will offer 204 places. TIMELINE: Project design is in an advanced stage. Demolition of the building existing on the site is completed. Though the business case of the project was officially approved, the project is still in the "planning" stage with the Quebec Treasury Board Secretariat and is awaiting final government approvals before the official call for tenders for the construction phase can be launched. A detailed construction schedule, including the final delivery date and the official opening of the facility are not determined pending final provincial approvals. Further update in late 2026/early 2027. Notes: - According to the currently available information construction of the project will not begin before early/spring 2027. - Partial demolition of the existing building at 575 Boul. Saint-Jean in Pointe-Claire has been already completed. The related tender report is under CRM ID name Demolition of the Existing Building.
