Board of County Commissioners of Yellowstone County, Montana is currently requesting bids from interested parties for all labor, materials, equipment and permits necessary for the hazardous materials abatement on the vacant 2nd, and 3rd Floors in the Miller Building, 301 North 29th Street, Billings MT 59101. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids received, to waive informalities, to evaluate the bids submitted and to accept the bid that best serves the interests of Yellowstone County. Contractor will provide all equipment, materials, and labor for of the Yellowstone County Administration Building located at 301 North 29th Street, Billings, MT 59101 (former Miller Building). Ensure all precautionary measures required to ensure your work is safe and protected. Non-traditional work hours may be required. Recently, Northern Industrial Hygiene conducted comprehensive hazardous materials testing in the building located at 301 North 29th Street . Testing revealed the presence of asbestos containing materials throughout the building. The detailed Scope of Work for asbestos abatement on the 2nd & 3rd floors are included in the attached Project Manual- Asbestos Abatement for 2nd and 3rd Floors - Miller Building. The contractor shall be responsible for providing the following: 1. All management, labor, materials, and equipment. 2. All required City, State* , or Federal Permits *Yellowstone County has a 2022 annual asbestos permit from MT DEQ* The selected asbestos abatement contractor is responsible for amending the annual permit and paying the required fee to ensure the contractor is included as an authorized asbestos contractor on permit. 3. Proper disposal of all materials removed from the property and 4. Documentation to the County on removal and disposal
