Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Flanagan, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

The project consists of demolishing an existing garage, disposal of all demolition debris in accordance with all applicable laws, and surface restoration of the project area after demolition and debris disposal. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids for this work shall include all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, transportation, equipment, and services necessary and required to perform the project. Questions about the project will be answered at the board meeting on December 21, 2021. The project site is currently privately owned and access to the site for inspection before submittal of bids HAS NOT been secured by the Village. Any bidders who wish to inspect the site do so at their own risk and the Village of Flanagan is not liable for any issues that arise in the event a bidder enters this private property. Bid security shall be furnished in the form of a cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid. The Village of Flanagan reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive or not waive any informality in the bids, and to accept any bid which it deems most favorable to the Village. It is agreed that this bid may not be withdrawn for 45 days from opening thereof or it will be subject to forfeit the 5% Bid security. Work on this project is subject to the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130). Prevailing Wages, as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor and the current Prevailing wage ordinance approved by the Village of Flanagan Board, shall be paid. The submission of monthly certified payrolls to the Village of Flanagan will be required. Work on this project is subject to the Illinois Substance Abuse Prevention on Public Works Project Act as enacted by P.A.
