Renovation of a municipal facility in Wooster, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
PROJECT in accordance with the specifications on file in said office. Project Description: This project involves the renovation of 4 offices, lunch room/conference room, restrooms, and locker room. Project Cost: The Engineer's estimated construction cost for this project is $250,000. Final Completion Date: July 1, 2022. Each bid must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same, and be accompanied by a bidding bond or a certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid price as a guaranty that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance secured OR provide a contract bond for 100% of the bid amount. Plans and specifications can be shipped via FedEx, UPS, or picked up at the office of the City. Bidders must be registered for their bids to be considered. The City Engineer will transmit to all prospective Bidders of Record such addenda as the Engineer considers necessary in response to questions arising at the meeting. City is not responsible to provide a written transcript of the meeting. Oral statements may not be relied upon and will not be binding or legally effective. Bidders are required to use the forms which will be furnished on application. Bids shall be sealed and marked "PUBLIC PROPERTIES MAINTENANCE FACILITY INTERIOR RENOVATION PROJECT" and mailed or delivered to the address above. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Wayne County and the City of Wooster, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids, and/or alternate unit prices. Contact the City Engineer at 330-263-5251 for all questions and requests for additional information.
