Location- 1010 S 144th St Omaha, NE 68154 A. The lighting system at Millard North High School consist of various ages of fluorescent lighting including T12 which is nearing end of life and in need of replacement. The project includes removal of the existing fluorescent lighting and replacing it with new LED in the Phase 2 area. New lighting controls will be provided per energy code. B. Work under this contract includes all material, labor, tools, expendable equipment, utility and transportation services, and all incidental items necessary to perform and complete, in a workmanlike manner, the work required for the construction of the Millard North High School Lighting Upgrade - Phase 2 Project. C. Work in the facility shall be allowed after normal student classroom hours during the school year and all hours during summer break. However, the contractor must provide, at all times, for clear exit paths, proper lighting, and fire/smoke protection (subject to approval of all authorities having jurisdiction) and protection against any and all fumes and odors caused by construction activities. The contractor shall halt or modify any activities the Owner determines to be disruptive in any manner to their continued use of the building. 1. BASE BID SCHEDULE: General Contractor may start work on the interior renovations on February 16th, 2022 and will substantially complete the interior renovations construction work on or before July 29th, 2022. 2. Final Completion shall be on or before Friday, August 5th, 2022. 3. Owner Training shall be conducted on August 8th-9th, 2022.
