This project involves the replacement of existing HVAC units with new. The contractor shall be responsible for all mechanical, structural, electrical, etc., work as required to attain a complete, operable system. Proposal forms are provided for use and participants are required to provide a printed hard copy of all forms. Failure to include the requested information and items, as well as late proposals, may result in rejection of proposal. For identification purposes, the bidding contractor's name and complete address must be on the outside of envelopes containing bids. Questions, in regards to this Bid Solicitation, shall be submitted no later than December 16, 2021. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a bond for the faithful performance on the contract and a bond to secure payment of all claims for materials furnished and/or labor performed in performance of the project, both in amounts equal to 100% of the Contract Price. Both bonds shall be issued by a Corporate Surety authorized to do business with the State of Georgia. All bids submitted shall remain open for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening. Offers are required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days after submission. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers.
