These measures include but are not limited to a 5-foot-thick lens of launchable Grade C quarry stone below the w ater surface to protect the bank from scour and erosion, a 2.5 foot thick lens of soil-rock mix and brush layering above the w ater surface to protect the bank from w ave w ash generated by boat w akes and w ind w aves, and transitions to existing grade at the upstream and dow nstream ends of the site for both soil-rock mix and quarry stone measures. Additionally, planting benches w ill vary in w idth and allow for subsequent planting of native riparian species. Per DFARS 236.204(ii) the estimated magnitude of this requirement is betw een $5M and $10M.
