The project is part of converting the existing irrigation system from using potable water to non-potable water (reclaimed water). The work consists of replacing all irrigation sprinklers including but not limited to, rotors, spray heads, nozzles, bubbles, and valve boxes as required by state law. The work also includes the installation of non-potable water "Do Not Drink" signs in all affected zones. Contractor will be responsible for obtaining, installing, and constructing all materials per the specifications to provide a fully functional irrigation system. The site of work is located along the Grand Lakes development located North to the intersection of Grand Parkway 99 and West park Tollway in Fort Bend County,Texas Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the Owner,in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount Bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates within seven (7) days after the date Contract Documents are received by the Contractor. If a certified or cashier's check is provided, the successful bidder shall deliver, at the bid opening address,the original certified or cashier's check within twenty-four(24)hours of receipt of the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except time of submitting a Bid. PRE-BID CONFERENCE WILL NOT BE HELD.
