Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Shamattawa, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
The Work of this Tender No.: 7218 is generally described below: Part A - General Construction Mobilization of equipment and materials to site, traffic control, surveying and layout. Part B - Rehabilitation of Runway, Apron, and Taxiway, and Drainage System. Clearing, grubbing, drilling, blasting and crushing to supply, haul, place, grade and compact traffic gravel on the existing apron, taxiway, and runway. Excavation, backfilling, and surface preparation. Clearing, excavating and grading the location of new drainage ditch as shown on the drawing and regrading of the existing drainage ditches. Removing and placing steel culverts and stone riprap. Supply and install silt fence barrier, erosion control blanket and straw wattle, hydro seeding and mulching. Part C - Application of Dust Suppressant/Fines Preservation Agent EK35 Supply and application of dust suppressant/fines preservative agent EK35, including all necessary equipment/accessories, on the apron, taxiway, and runway. . Part D - Supply of Maintenance Gravel Stockpiling traffic gravel "D" (EPP). Official bid documents must be obtained from Merx and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
