As of January 18, 2022, this project was awarded to Pearl Pool Plastering, LLC in the amount of $125,613.70. We are currently seeking a company to repair and resurface the main pool and the wading/kiddie pool at the Washington Terrace Pool facility. The main pool is approximately 4,627 square feet with a max depth of 4.6 feet. The main pool holds approximately 123,000 gallons of water. The wading/kiddie pool is approximately 450 square feet with shallow water only. The wading/kiddie pool holds approximately 3,000 gallons of water. General contractors are notified that "An Act to regulate the Practice of General Contractors", Section 87-1 through 15, ratified by the General Assembly of North Carolina, on March 10, 1925, and as subsequently amended will be observed in receiving and awarding general contracts. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, as may in the judgment of the City, serve its best interest and the City further reserves the right to waive irregularities and informalities in any bid submitted. In accordance with the Federal "Americans with Disabilities Act" (the Act), the City of High Point will not discriminate against individuals and will not do business with vendors who discriminate against such individuals in violation of the Act.
