Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Mount Gilead, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The scope of work to be performed consists of the milling and resurfacing of approximately 7,200 square yards of asphalt pavement, complete with new storm sewers, curb inlets, 1,300 lineal feet of curbing, and general restoration. The Architect/Engineer for the Project is Poggemeyer Design Group, Inc., 1168 North Main Street, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. Each bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond in an amount of 100% of the bid amount with a surety satisfactory to the aforesaid Morrow County Board of Commissioners or by certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit upon a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the bid amount in favor of the aforesaid Morrow County Board of Commissioners. Bid Bonds shall be accompanied by Proof of Authority of the official or agent signing the bond. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the Federal Labor Standards Provisions and Davis-Bacon Wages, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirement for payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price. The successful bidder will be required to pay not less than the highest applicable minimum wage rates as established by the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of Ohio and the federal Davis-Bacon Wage Determinations issued by the U.S. Department of Labor. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Morrow County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. This project is being partially funded with Federal CDBG funds. The opinion of probable cost of construction for this project is $385,000.
