Project consists of remodeling of the existing Nurse's Office. Bid Security is required in the form of a Bid Bond, AIA Document A310 in an amount equal to not less than ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid and all Additive Alternates. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract sum, on AIA Document A312, as issued by the American Institute of Architects. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. 1. Remodel work of the existing Nurse's Office to provide; space reconfiguration, fixture replacement, wood doors, hollow metal frames, door hardware, glazing, fire-rated glazing, lintel, CMU masonry, metal stud framing, wood blocking, gypsum board, casework, countertops, painting, lay-in acoustical panel ceiling system, associated demolition, mechanical, plumbing and electrical construction modifications within reconfigured room, air cooled condensing units in adjacent courtyard with cast in place concrete pad, and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. 2. The Work includes installation of new pre-purchased mechanical equipment, including associated work as described here-in, and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. Receipt of and unloading of pre-purchased mechanical equipment on site, and associated material and accessories is the responsibility of this contract. a. The work of this contract includes coordination of delivery, receipt of the delivery at the project site, unloading and placement of the equipment on site, disposal of any packaging materials
