This project generally consists of retrofitting the existing generator with an auto transfer switch. The project also contains modifications to existing storm shutters to automate their operation. Overall, the improvements contained within this project will help the Highlands Division transition the facility to remote operation. Question Cutoff Date 2/23/2022 12:00:00 PM (ET) The Engineer's OPCC for this project is $180,000.00 The Owner requires a person who submits a Proposal to submit a certified or cashier's check on a responsible bank in the state equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Proposal, or a bid bond equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Proposal issued by a surety legally authorized to do business in this state, as a good faith deposit to ensure execution of the Contract. For a Contract for more than $250,000, the Owner must accept a bid bond in the amount required by the Owner as a Proposal deposit. If the successful Respondent fails or refuses to enter into a proper Contract with the Owner, or fails or refuses to furnish the payment and performance bonds required by law, the Respondent forfeits the deposit. The Proposal Security will serve as guarantee that Respondent will enter into a Contract and execute Performance, Payment and other required bond forms furnished by the Owner within ten (10) business days of notice of intent to award.
