The Region of Halton, Public Works, Treatment Plant Maintenance, Water Distribution and Wastewater Collections is responsible for providing a maintenance program of proactive and reactive work designed to reduce the lifecycle costs of over 25,000 physical assets through predictive, preventative, and repair maintenance in support of the Regions Water & Wastewater Treatment plants, Water Distribution and Wastewater Treatment Plants. This program uses planning, scheduling and reliability centred maintenance (RCM) as key instruments of its success and relies heavily on contracted maintenance services to assist in the delivery of this program. As such, Halton Regions Treatment Plant Maintenance is seeking one (1) Primary AND one (1) Secondary Mechanical Maintenance Contractor to support this program. Through this Request for Proposals process, Proponents are invited to demonstrate that they have the qualifications, technical expertise and administrative resources that are required to provide the required maintenance services.
