Expected duration of the contract (in months): 36 For any planned or emergency work, the Center hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal (CHUM) wishes to take advantage of an agreement with a general contractor (the Contractor) so that he can intervene promptly to carry out construction, demolition or maintenance work. The CHUM does not require a bid guarantee. Prices are firm for the initial term of contracts to begin on the date indicated on the notice of award. All the tender documents have been filed on the site www.seao.ca and the tenderer must acquire them on this site. Authorization to contract issued by AMP Any company wishing to conclude a construction contract with a public body must, if the contract involves an expenditure equal to or greater than the applicable thresholds determined by the government, make a request to the Public Procurement Authority (AMP) in order to obtain an authorization to contract . Due to the delays in obtaining authorization to contract, the CHUM suggests that bidders make their authorization request as soon as possible.
