The City of Covington's Community Development Department solicits interest from consulting firms with expertise in architectural design services and form-based code to provide on-call professional architectural and design consulting services for the 2022 calendar year. The scope of services will include on-call architectural and design consulting services to assist Community Development staff with peer review of development projects including general architectural analysis, review of proposals for consistency with City design standards and guidelines and zoning codes, review requests for design deviations, provide memos and comments to City staff, and discuss recommendations with staff and applicants as necessary. Additional work may also include; providing visualization tools for interior and exterior spaces - in aerial, street, and artistic perspectives; constructability review; building assessment, code development, and amendment assistance, policy planning assistance related to design; and other related work as requested by the City.
