Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Covington, Washington. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project is to widen and reconstruct a portion of SE 272nd Street between 185th Place SE and 192nd Avenue SE. This project will widen the street from 2-lanes to 5-lanes including curb and gutter, 8' sidewalks, access control features, landscaping and provisions for u-turns. This project is included in the City of Covington's FY 2022 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of May 3, 2024, a design firm has been selected. It is anticipated that construction will begin in 2026.
