The services of this solicitation include, but are not limited to, commissioning of the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, telecommunications, distributed antenna, security, simulation suites, access control & A/V systems of the project. Provide systems commissioning services for the design-build Health Science Building project. This building will be located on Bridgerland Technical College's main campus in Logan, Utah. It will be an approximately 75,000 square feet and be purpose-built to house programs such as nursing, medical assisting, phlebotomy, dental assisting, and pharmacy technician. It is a design-build project that was recently awarded to Layton Construction teamed with Method Studio. Its mechanical system will include VAV air handlers with condensing boilers and an air cooled chiller. Respondents are encouraged to read the referenced building program and design documents to gain an understanding of the building, its proposed systems, occupants and purposes. Information in the submittals should convey an understanding of how proposed commissioning team and services will address unique aspects of this project and help the project team deliver a high performance building. The contract will be for full systems commissioning services as outlined in the 2021 High Performance Building Standard except it will have a condensed design phase, typical of design-build delivery.
