Site work for a water / sewer project in Tipton, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Each bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, identified as "Bid for Annual Drain Maintenance of Big Cicero Creek 2022", shall bear the name and address of the bidder and must be filed in the office of the Tipton County Surveyor (or designee) prior to the bid opening. As required by IC 36-9-27-78(c). Bids shall be submitted on a fully and properly executed "General Bid Form 96" which includes a NonCollusion Affidavit, as prescribed by the Indiana State Board of Accounts and in accordance with I.C. 36-1-12-4(b, 6 & 12) and all acts amendatory thereto and shall include the required "Plan & Equipment Questionnaire" and "Contractor's Financial Statement". The bid shall also include an executed Non-Discrimination Clause, and Certificate of Non-Segregated Facilities. Pursuant to I.C. 36- 9-27-78(b), the bidder shall be required to file with his or her bid proposal, at his or her option, either a certified check or cashier's check made payable to the Big Cicero Joint Drainage Board in the amount of $500.00 or acceptable bid bond with sufficient sureties. The bond must be conditioned upon the bidder's execution of a contract in accordance with his or her bid if accepted by the Board and must provide for the forfeiture of the bond upon his or her failure to do so. The Big Cicero Creek Joint Drainage Board shall return all checks and bonds submitted by unsuccessful bidders, and shall return the successful bidders' checks or bonds upon entering into a contract with the Board. Pursuant to IC 36- 9-27-78(c), at the time specified the Big Cicero Creek Joint Drainage Board shall open and examine all bids. The Board shall then promptly award the contract to the lowest bidder or bidders it finds qualified. In determining whether a bidder is qualified, the Board shall consider the complexity and magnitude of the work to be performed, and the skill and experience of the bidder. A Performance Bond in the amount of $10,000.00 will be required of the successful bidder. The bond must be conditioned on the faithful performance of the contract and the payment of all expenses and damages incurred under the contract, including payment of all suppliers, laborers, and subcontractors. The bond shall remain valid and in full force and effect during the term of this contract. The Big Cicero Creek Joint Drainage Board reserves the right to waive informalities or accept or to reject any and all bids, all to the advantage of said Board.
