This Request for Quotations (the RFQ) is an invitation by Centre d'excellence en approvisionnement FRANCOachat and its participating agencies (CEA FRANCOachat) to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for Elevating Devices Preventative Maintenance Services, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the Deliverables). The Board is soliciting submissions from respondents capable of providing elevating devices preventative maintenance services for schools throughout eastern Ontario for the following devices categories: 1. Elevator 2. Handicapped 3. Stairlift The Board intends to award a (2) two years contracts, with (1) one-year renewal option. The successful respondent will be requested to enter into a contract for the provision of the Deliverables on the terms and conditions set out in the Form of Agreement (Appendix A) (the Agreement). It is the intention of CEA FRANCOachat's participating agencies to enter into a contract with only one (1) legal entity per awarded contract. The term of the contract is to be for, beginning approximately April 1st,2022 and ending May 31st, 2024. Upon completion, and mutual consent of both the Board and successful respondent(s), the contract may be renewed for one (1) additional year period. If renewed, the price increase (if any) should not exceed the average annual increase in the Consumer Price Index for Ontario, as published by Statistics Canada over the 12-month period immediately preceding the date of the renewal. Joint submissions are acceptable, however, if a joint submission is made, the submission must clearly indicate which party will act as the prime contractor.
