Renovation of a municipal facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Kent County Department of Public Works (Kent County) needs to upgrade the waste cranes and infrastructure for the Kent County WTE facility. Kent County Waste to Energy is replacing two new overhead cranes in April of 2023. The Crane Infrastructure work is to be completed prior to the new crane installation. This work includes standing seem roofing demo / install, gutter rework, smoke & heat vent demo / install, purlin demo / install, roof drain piping demo / install, MCC room work including demo of existing equipment, metal stud installation, insulation, liner panel, HVAC for MCC rooms, suspended ceiling, door demo / install, and electrical demo / install for new overhead cranes. Bid packages include general trades, roofing, plumbing & HVAC, fire protection, and electrical.
