Renovation of a municipal facility in Richmond, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Integrated Building Security to include duress alarms, cameras, and badging The SCC is located in the Tyler Building at 1300 E. Main Street. Colliers International Asset Services, LLC is under contract to provide property management services. The Tyler Building consists of a tower building that is thirteen floors, and a wing that is five floors, including a basement level. The building structure encompasses 307,196 gross square feet with 290,221 square feet of heated space. Currently, the building is equipped with inconsistent and aging duress alarms, and analog and digital cameras throughout. Additionally, the building has a P2000 badging system that is used to restrict access to certain areas. These systems are not currently integrated. The SCC seeks information from the Market to guide procurement and implementation of a comprehensive integrated security system including software and hardware.
