*Per Addendum 6, the bid date was extended from January 25 to February 1, 2022.* The work includes the roadway extension of West Blvd from I-485 to Dixie River Rd, the realignment of Garrison Rd, the improvements to Ex. Garrison Rd and Horton Rd, the improvements to the I-485 Ramps, the West Blvd Watermain and all the associated infrastructure as shown on the Plans. . The Water Main Extension will be bid as a separate lump sum item within the Overall Bid Proposal. The "Phase A" work is all the work shown in the Plan Set that is East of the Phase Line located at Sta. 11+60 along the West Blvd Extension. The "Phase A" work will tie into the future intersection of West Blvd and Dixie River Road that will be constructed by others. The "Phase B" improvements are a Bid Alternate that will be added should the pending future improvements to the West Blvd Ext. and Dixie River Rd intersection not be constructed. The Developer will notify the Contractor in writing should the "Phase B" Alternate be required. Bidders must be properly licensed under North Carolina state law to perform the work.
