Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Charlotte, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
This project consists of structural repairs and waterproofing replacement at a pedestrian bridge at Burson Hall (to be known as Honeywell Innovation Hub) on the campus of UNC Charlotte. The building is located at 9006 Craver Road, Charlotte, NC. The scope of the project includes structural repairs to the bridge superstructure and the installation of a new trench drain and expansion joint. The scope also includes removing and replacing the precast panels and demolition and replacement of the bridge topping slab. The project includes all other work as shown, indicated, or reasonably implied on the drawings and/or specifications for a complete, first-class job. Question Deadline 06/16/2026 Should the bidder find discrepancies in, or omission from, the drawings or documents or should he be in doubt as to their meaning, he shall at once notify the designer who will send written instructions in the form of addenda to all bidders. Notification should be no later than seven (7) days prior to the date set for receipt of bids. GS 143-128.2 establishes a ten percent (10%) goal for participation by minority businesses in total value of work for each State building project.
