Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; golf course; and golf course.
The proposed scope of work for this location includes removal and replacement of existing concrete curb and gutter and sidewalk around the existing clubhouse at the Patty Jewett Golf Course. This project will also reconstruct the existing parking lot by reclaiming the existing asphalt. Please see geotechnical report. The lot will be reconstructed to meet current ADA specifications and will also provide a new parking lay out that will increase the number of available parking spaces This project also includes the installation a new Redi-Rock retaining wall. Please see the Phasing plans shown in the plan set. It will be important for the contractor to coordinate with the Golf Course Manager and Golf Course Superintendent. There will be certain times during the project when the contractor will need to make sure they are coordinating construction with special events held at the golf course. Portions of the parking lot must remain open during construction. It will be important for customers to be able to have parking and be able to access the club house during construction.
