No bid will be received unless it is made on a proposal form furnished by the City. All bid forms including all schedules attached thereto must be filled in and completed The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project, as more specifically described in the Contract Documents. Hard copy of the bid package will not be mailed. Total construction duration is 60 working days. Estimated cost is in the range of $400,000. In accordance with provisions of Section 3300 of the California Public Contract Code, City of West Covina has determined that the contractor shall possess a class "A" valid California Contractor's License. Failure to possess such license may render the bid as non-responsive and bar the award of the contract to that non-responsive Bidder. The successful Contractor and subcontractors will be required to possess business licenses from the City of West Covina. This project is subject to the requirements of SB 854. Prevailing wages shall be paid to all workers in accordance with California Labor Code 1771. The bid proposal must include a print out from the DIR registration website showing that the prime contractor and each subcontractor is currently registered. Any contract entered into pursuant to this notice shall become effective or enforceable against the City only when the formal written contract has been duly executed by the appropriate officers of the City. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularity, and to take all bids under advisement for a period of sixty (60) calendar days. All questions regarding this bid shall be submitted electronically via Portal, no later than 7 calendar days prior to the Bid due date and time.
