**As of March 14, 2022, project was awarded to LVH Entertainment Systems, awarded amount is $1,019,328.16.** The City of Lancaster is seeking quotes for the installation of a new generator at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center (LPAC). Located at 750 West Lancaster Boulevard in Lancaster California, LPAC is celebrating thirty years as the premier destination in the Antelope Valley for live performing arts and entertainment programs. This RFQ contains the information and documents necessary to prepare and submit a responsive quote. Bidders are responsible for complying with all requirements identified herein. By submitting a finished quote packet, the bidder represents that it has thoroughly examined and become familiar with the work required within this quote and that it is capable of supplying a product to achieve the City's objectives. Requests for modifications to the submitted quote packet on the grounds that the bidder was not fully informed as to any fact or condition will not be allowed. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any quote, or portions thereof, or to waive any informalities or irregularities within the quotes. Any questions or requests for interpretation or clarification, either administrative or technical, about this RFQ must be submitted to the Purchasing Department via email at bidinquiries@cityoflancasterca.gov prior to 2:00 P.M. on February 16, 2021. The subject line should be "Question - RFQ 759-22. Contractor to provide the following: o Engineered electrical construction drawings with engineered structural concrete pad drawings for submittal to City Building & Safety and the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Project management design review, engineering & permit management (all other relevant permits: CERS, AVAQMD, etc.). o One (1) Cummins 200 KW standby generator (3 phase, 4 wire 277/480 V delta Y, diesel engine with double wall 24-hour belly fuel tank, aluminum level 2 sound attenuated enclosure, with battery charger, block heater and minimum 1-year warranty). o Materials: o One (1) 36"x36"x12" J Box Nema 3R, >30 4" conduit with four (4) wires 500 MCM & #2 ground from J box to new generator. o One (1) >30' 3/4 " conduit with three (3) wires #14 THHN CU from J box to new generator for remote start circuit. o One (1) >30' 3/4 " conduit with five (5) wires #10 THHN CU for battery charger and block heater circuits from J box to new generator. o Concrete pad for generator. o Labor: o Remove existing chain link fence roof and reinstall once new generator is in place. o Remove existing generator o Fuel polish existing generator fuel and stage in 55-gallon drums to be refuel polish and pumped into new generator. o Saw cut, demo and dispose of existing concrete pad. o Pour new concrete pad. o Install generator. o Install one (1) 36"x36"x12" J Box Nema 3R, >30 4" conduit with four (4) wires 500 MCM and #2 ground from J box to new generator. o Install one (1) >30' 3/4 " conduit with three (3) wires #14 THHN CU from J box to new generator for remote start circuit. o Install one (1) >30' 3/4 " conduit with five (5) wires #10 THHN CU for battery charger and block heater circuits from J-box to new generator. o Project management and permit close out. o Equipment: crane to set generator. o Test generator to ensure it operates to City's satisfaction and meeting performance standards set by manufacturer. o Provide price for optional radiator mounted load bank
