Site work for a civil project in Lancaster, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant Work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project, as more specifically described in the Contract Documents. This Work will be performed in strict conformance with the Contract Documents, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction, and applicable regulations. The quantity of Work to be performed and materials to be furnished are approximations only, being given as a basis for the comparison of Bids. Actual quantities of Work to be performed may vary at the discretion of the Agency Engineer. - Construction of a reinforced concrete turnout structure on the East Branch Canal of the California Aqueduct, including steel trashracks, traveling water screen, two electrically operated slide gates, platforms, and all provisions required to construct said turnout while the East Branch Canal of the California Aqueduct is in service. - Furnish and install approximately 168 feet of 84-inch diameter pressure pipe. - Furnish and install an 84-inch multi-path ultrasonic meter complete with vault and installation of all metering instrumentation in new control building. - Construction of a concrete block control building complete with air conditioning, ventilation, and all necessary electrical and mechanical installation. - Sitework The project is located on the State Water Project East Branch Canal near the crossroads of 290th Street and West Avenue B in the unincorporated portions of Los Angeles County, Antelope Valley California. Discrepancies in, and/or omissions from the Bid or Contract Documents or questions as to their meaning shall be immediately brought to the attention of the Agency by submission of a written request for an interpretation or clarification to the Agency. Such submission, if any, must be sent to Justin Livesay at jlivesay@avek.org . Questions must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on JANUARY 3, 2022. Questions received after this date and time may not be answered.
